Groceries are generally 50%-75% higher than in the states, but offer a substantial savings over dining out.  All stores are closed on Sunday. The barge delivers on Thursdays and the shelves are stocked on Fridays. You may not find certain items by Wednesday. If the seas are rough, sometimes the barge cannot make deliveries and store shelves become bare.
